Church, Secos, Malibu

Got back from New York and scored 3 of my all time favorite California summertime pointbreaks in back to back days on Sunday and Monday(yesterday). SO MANY GOOD WAVES!

Church was glassy all day long. Waist to Shoulder high perfect peelers with occasional plus sets. AND a very light crowd. Awesome longboard waves.

Even the point at SANO was working..

Malibu looked fun, but too crowded so my friend Mike and I continued north to Secos aka Leo Carrillo aka Arroyo Sequit

Weapons of choice for Secos speedy walls off the rock..

After a bunch of fun racy waves the tide eventually got too high and swamped out Secos, so we headed back down to the Bu for an evening log session. Man it was good...it really turned on with the higher tide. Flawless long lines wrapping into the inside cove. There was actually a sandbar right off the beach making the inside section even better than usual!

So good to ride both boards and score both Secos and Malibu!
Hopefully this is the start to a good summer.
