So good to be back in the heart of the Bronx on Arthur Avenue in Belmont. Forgot how busy it gets on a warm sunny Sunday afternoon (especially when the Yankees are playing the Red Sox) With Umberto's now gone we decided to eat at Dominick's. It was much more crowded than the previous time eating there but the food was EXCELLENT as always. Raviolis to die for! Chelsea got lasagne.
Like a lot of the other places on Arthur, Dominick's doesn't have a menu. They simply tell you what they are offering that day..or if its not busy at all you can tell them what you'd like to have. I did this last time and they made me a seafood linguine. Also Dominick's is a family style place(duh it's practically Italy) with long tables filling the entire room and on the walls are pictures of the old and new yankee stadiums and how the neighborhood used to be in the old days.
