Lauchernalp panoramas

It's extremely difficult to describe the magnitude of being up in these mountains. Especially for 3 days straight with nothing but the best family, friends, food, drinks, weather, and of course skiing. Really makes you realize what life's all about.
Hopefully these panoramas give a slight sense of what it feels like.

Ready for Winter

This is the very first t-bar lift at Lauchernalp. I love going on this..looking up at the whole beautiful mountain ahead, anticipating all the fun lines that await. This picture also gives you some perspective as to just how vast Lauchernalp is. From here you can't even seen the whole top half of the mountain.
The map doesn't really give it justice. This t-bar can be seen as #4 on the map below (right next to the orange arrow).
Right now Lauchernalp's definitely my favorite ski area. It's so diverse with every degree of snow and difficultly. It really has something for everyone. Plus its such a vast resort that crowds are never an issue.
Really hoping to do some more skiing here this upcoming winter. Especially with Brigitte Alex & family.

My playground

As much as I like summer and all of its nuances, Winter is tough to beat.
We may be in the middle of July and summer now..but the earth is turning quick and winter will be here before you know it. My skis have been in a swiss basement collecting dust. I can't wait for days like this again. First lift up the mountain at dawn and last one down at dusk.

Sunrise

It's hard to explain the humbleness and gratitude that existed at this moment in time. Staying with family and Waking up in this sleepy village in the Alps and going outside on the balcony to see the sun's rays appearing over the mountains. Blue skies and just knowing that a full day of awesome skiing awaits.
Thanks Brigitte Alex Tristan Yorik Lysander
