Eddies

Springtime in da Bronx

Sunday Night Baseball

2 Sundays back I got to go to the Sunday night game against the red sox.
Went last minute but made it in time for the start of the 2nd inning. Great game with tons of action. The crowd was super super rowdy with a lot of fights, yelling, and general mayhem going on. It was awesome. What yanks v sox games are all about. The red sox manager getting ejected in the 4th inning for arguing replay only added fuel to the fire. HAHA
This game had everything, Nova pitching a tightwire game, Beltran hitting a 2run blast, Cervelli getting hurt on the replay play at first base. Ichiro making an incredible catch in right field, etc etc.
3-2 Victory for the bombers

Da big ballpark in da Bronx always looks so rad at night.

Bronx Bombers

Some more shots from Saturday's April 12 day game against the red sux.
Awesome weather and an awesome game. Yanks had 5 bombers en route to a 7-4 victory. McCann and Soriano even had back to back jacks and Kuroda got the win.

Garlic fries, a beer, and the game....life doesn't get much better. Oh wait it does..all that PLUS the yanks putting a beating on the red sux.

We had great seats for the game. It was nice to sit in the right field side for once.

The Captains always lurking..

 Great Hall..

Church, Secos, Malibu

Got back from New York and scored 3 of my all time favorite California summertime pointbreaks in back to back days on Sunday and Monday(yesterday). SO MANY GOOD WAVES!

Church was glassy all day long. Waist to Shoulder high perfect peelers with occasional plus sets. AND a very light crowd. Awesome longboard waves.

Even the point at SANO was working..

Malibu looked fun, but too crowded so my friend Mike and I continued north to Secos aka Leo Carrillo aka Arroyo Sequit

Weapons of choice for Secos speedy walls off the rock..

After a bunch of fun racy waves the tide eventually got too high and swamped out Secos, so we headed back down to the Bu for an evening log session. Man it was good...it really turned on with the higher tide. Flawless long lines wrapping into the inside cove. There was actually a sandbar right off the beach making the inside section even better than usual!

So good to ride both boards and score both Secos and Malibu!
Hopefully this is the start to a good summer.
