Lionfish



Saw a bunch of lionfish. These particular ones were difficult to photograph(most are) because they were hanging out upside down waaaay back in up underneath this ledgy overhang. At about 70-80ft deep underwater.

    They are invasive and really bad for reefs. Some places fish for them, were they on any menus down there?

      Not at any of the places we ate at, but I think that a few of the restaurants in "downtown" Cozumel offer them.
