Just Another Typical Dive in Cozumel

 Virtually all of our shallow dives were on sections of reef just like this one. 

Just perfect drift dives!

Seahorse

 Got to see a Seahorse!! It was on one of the first morning dives. These dives are always the deeper (80-100ft) dives of the day. Anyways this dive was mostly towering coral reef buttresses..but halfway through the dive there was a wide sand flat separating two sections of the reef. This seahorse was hanging out on the sand flat. My first time seeing a seahorse in the wild and I was surprised by how big it actually was. Stoked!

Gotta say... I saw A TON of amazing stuff in Cozumel.

Seems I have a tendency for noticing things that like to go unnoticed

or maybe it's just dumb luck

 The beach at the Mayan ruins of Tulum is probably the most beautiful beach I've ever been to..

Simply amazing colors with water as warm as a bathtub all set against a tropical jungle cliff side.

Ahhh I miss it!! Take me back!!!!

Drifting

Our last dive in Cozumel was definitely a good one!

A classic shallow water(50ft+) drift dive

This turtle was hanging out eating lunch on a flat stretch of bottom between patches of the reef.

He could've cared less about us drifting right on by
