Winter?

Feels like I missed out on everything winter this year. 

Almost been a full year since I've seen real Swiss snow...

 

Something pretty special about looking straight ahead at the Matterhorn while dropping in to start your ski run..

 And then 25min later realizing yer still only halfway to the bottom..

Lunch on the mountain is the best

Maybe Europe will get a big snowstorm and maybe airfares drop and maybe I'll be gone soon....

No Knife

 Got to see No Knife reunite and play at the Casbah this month for the Casbah's 25th anniversary concerts. First time they've played since their final show in 2009 at the Bellyup. Met up with Derek and Vito down there..Such a Rad show.

This parrotfish? came by posing for the camera and wondering what a weird scuba diver was doing intruding upon it's little section of reef.

Playa Negra, Costa Rica

The classic lava reef break doing it's thing back in the summer of 2005. 

SUCH a FUN wave! 

Got to surf this wave several different times on 2 separate trips over the years(2003,2005) and this day was by far the best.

On a side note..With all the development that seems to be going on down there I can only imagine how built up this jungle area probably is now. Glad we got to experience the true Costa Rica before all the masses descended.
