Elsigen Alp

Winter is just around the corner. Looking forward to more epic Swiss days like this one back in February.

The Best Way to Travel

This is from earlier this year in February. I could ride the trains in Switzerland all day. Especially in winter. Daydreaming, listening to music, and watching the snowy world pass by.

Safety Stop

On one of our safety stops, a school of blue parrot fish came by to say hello and checkout what was going on. It was pretty cool..Parrot fish are probably my favorite fish. Seems like they are always all together just darting around everywhere playing with everyone and having a good time.

We're going back!

Cozumel Boat Dive

Here's a video from one of our dives in Cozumel.
Since I didn't use a filter, it seems very washed out with all the blue compared to being there seeing it in person. Overall though I think it turned out pretty good.
As I recall this was our second dive of the day and bottom depth was probably around 50-60ft.
Just another classic Cozumel drift dive.

Sunset Cliffs

Something extra sweet about scoring your favorite winter time wave shoulder high in mid September in trunks.

Canyon Sets

Got Black's GOOD this past weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday. Here's some pics from Saturday that Ky took with his ipad. Sunday was even better with less of a crowd. SO MANY kneeboard barrels on the lefts and some standup tubes on the rights. The sandbars are just butter right now. It's gonna be a good fall..I can feel it.

Kneeboard tubes

Been getting some really fun sessions lately at black's. Mainly because It's nice to be able to roll down to the coast after work on a saturday at 130pm(or 4pm on a thursday) during a heatwave, park in your preferred spot, and mellowly walk down the trail to fun waves. One of the few tucked away local summer spots left where you can just show up under the radar and surf without all the onland bullshit. The surf being FUN has just been a great added bonus. Warm water glassy crystal clear hollow little lefts wedging up and running down the beach.

Blue to Red

I'm sure Stephanie is in Switzerland missing the beach right now.

Morocco

This video has been generating a lot of buzz on vimeo. Understandably so. I think that this truly captures everything and just what Morocco is all about. Felt like I was back in the medina again like old times. Really makes me wanna return back for a 3rd visit so bad..
So inspiring and on point.
Hopefully this will help to give you a better glimpse into some of what I experienced in Morocco..

Some Cozumel Lobsters

We got to see lobsters on just about every single dive. A lot of the times it was not possible to photograph them. Due to the nature of drift diving it can be extremely difficult to stop and hover at a "lobster hole" or anything else for that matter. Most of the lobsters were not shy at all and our presence did little to bother them. On the night dive I got to see the biggest lobster that I've ever seen. Easily bigger than the size of a small dog. Unfortunately I was unable to get a pic of it in the low light.
Here's a few of Cozumel's camera friendly lobsters..
