A great day watching the Yankees game and commemorating 9/11

Lots of pregame ceremonies and Joe Torre was even there.

The hitman Brett Gardner and the captain Jeter warming up in the on deck circle..

Good seats...could see right into the yanks dugout on first base side.

Jeter at bat with the grandy man Curtis Granderson on deck....also CC Sabathia leaning on top rail of the dugout. Jeter would get on base and Granderson hit a 2run homer.

Curtis Granderson in center field in front of "We Shall Not Forgot September 11, 2001" and flags at half mast.

Mo closing closing out the victory with his 599th career save.

Bronx Bombers win 6-5.
